The BASE® Integrated HRA is a solution for employers with a group health insurance plan in place. Employers integrate Health Reimbursement Arrangements with group health coverage to add an additional benefit for employees to help decrease insurance premium rates. Employers have more control of the total cost of their benefit plans by utilizing the BASE® Integrated HRA.

This plan is available for employers who are looking to keep the same insurance coverage for their employees but reduce the overall cost. Requirements include:

  • Employer with two or more employees and sponsors a group underwritten health plan.
  • Employer self-insures part of the deductible.
  • Plan must have a benefit limit (plan maximum).

The BASE® Integrated HRA ultimately provides employers with an additional benefit that helps to strengthen employee benefit programs and make them a more valuable recruiting tool.
